Oronsay House

Built in 1880, Oronsay House in Alnwick exhibits many period features and is set in a conservation area just 175 yards from the Bondgate (or Hotspur) Tower and the town centre. We are a similar distance from one of the entrances to Alnwick Castle and Gardens and just 200 yards from Barter Books.

A family run guest house in the heart of Alnwick, Oronsay House has 5 tasteful rooms all with en-suite facilities and Wi-Fi. We are one of the few guest houses in central Alnwick that are able to offer off-street parking in our private car park.

• We regret that we do not have accommodation suitable for young persons under the age of 14 years. We do not take pets.
• In order to comply with the law and in consideration to all of our guests, Oronsay House is totally non smoking. Acceptance of a booking for accommodation is done so with this condition and forms part of a legal contract. Any smoking inside the house will incur a charge of £100 for additional cleaning and possibly further compensation for loss of business and other costs if we have to cancel a subsequent booking as a result. We have a smoking area with ash tray in the car park.
