Booking Policies
We accept instant confirmation online bookings.
We accept bookings from official tourism information centers. We accept payment by bank transfer. We accept payment via PayPal: 
Standard Check-In Time: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Standard Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM
Please contact us if you would like to check-in earlier / check-out later. A non refundable first nights deposit is payable. The balance of the booking is payable in full on you're departure. You are strongly advised to have adequate travel insurance cover in place to cover all eventualities. In the event of a 'no-show', the total price of the reservation will be charged and is payable in full within 7 days of the initial check in date. Other Policies- AT TATE HOUSE:
We provide a very high standard of quality wool carpets throughout our home, we would like to think our guests would respect our ‘No Shoes Policy’ during wet periods at the very least. If you feel uncomfortable about 'wiping your feet' or 'taking off your shoes when wet', then Tate House B & B is not for you. Thank you.
- NO SMOKING:
Smoking is NOT permitted in any part of our home. Notices are in place and failure to adhere will result in prosecution as stated by Law and a £100 cleaning charge will be added to your bill.
- BEHAVIOUR:
For the consideration of all our guests we ask that you recognise and respect acceptable noise levels or behavior. Unacceptable behavior may result in termination of your booking without refund or compensation.
- RECKLESS DAMMAGE:
We ask that you treat your home here at Tate House as you would your own. We retain the right to charge for the total cost(s) of rectification of any excessive soilage or damage you may cause to our property or furnishings. We always charge for mattress damage at £180. Any guests entering our home intoxicated are 100% fully liable for their actions.
- FINAL PAYMENT:
Payment can be by bank cheques or sterling cash. I regret that I do not have credit card facilities at our home. All cheques should be made payable to 'Tate House B & B'.
