Glenwalden Guesthouse

Steve and Sigrid would like to give you a very warm welcome to the Glenwalden Guesthouse.
We offer a high quality of accommodation and will do our very best to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as we can.
All our 10 bedrooms are en-suite and decorated to a high standard. We pride ourselves on the Glenwalden's high quality of cleanliness.
The Glenwalden is situated on the North Promenade, it’s just 10 minute walk into the town centre and the attractions, including the Wintergarden and the Tower, alternatively you take the tram from right outside the Glenwalden. We are also very close to the Hilton and the Imperial Hotel.
Our bedrooms are tastefully decorated and have spacious en-suites with shower, toilet, wash basin and razor points. We have Family, Twin and Double rooms available. There are colour freeview TV's, bedside lights, hairdryer's, radio alarm clocks, hospitality trays and controllable heating for your comfort. All windows are double glazed and most have sea-views.
All our bedrooms are non smoking. Wireless Broadband is available at no extra cost.
Here at the Glenwalden we offer a spacious style lounge bar where you can enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our bar makes the ideal place to unwind after a day sampling the delights of Blackpool. Relax in our comfortable elevated, 24ft sun lounge with outside balcony and superb views of the Promenade and Irish Sea.

Booking Policies

We accept instant confirmation online bookings.
We do not accept bookings from official tourism information centers.

We accept payment with the following cards:

Standard Check-In Time: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Standard Check-Out Time: 10:30 AM
Please contact us if you would like to check-in earlier / check-out later.

Changes to bookings may be made up to 28 days before arrival, subject to availability. Deposit is non refundable. The total value of the booking may be charged if changes/cancellations are made with less than 7 days notice

Other Policies

• In the event of a no show or a cancellation with less than 7 days notice prior to the date of arrival, an amount equivalent to 100% of the total balance will be charged to the named person responsible for the original booking. Credit cards will be charged the full amount to the person who made the original booking.
• Deposits are at a minimum of £20 per person and are non-refundable. All major credit/debit cards accepted. The FULL balance must be paid up on arrival. (Balances paid by credit or debit card will be subject to a surcharge)
• The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is part to that contract cause any detriment to the well-being or comfort of other guests
• All damages will be charged to the named person responsible for the original booking. Credit cards will be charged if payment is not made before departure
• We are a non-smoking guesthouse. Any Guests causing us suspicion of smoking in their rooms will be asked to leave and the booking will be cancelled with all charges due plus a room cleaning/loss of revenue charge of up to 2 nights room rate.
