Buckingham House, "Chester's Best Kept Secret," offers a memorable stay in Chester. It has six rooms on three floors. All rooms are ensuite and individually decorated and furnished. There is a ground floor ensuite for people with walking difficulties. All the accommodation is spacious and impeccably kept. This 4 Star rated elegant Victorian building was built in 1880, and maintains many of its original features.
The Drawing Room has a well stocked library for a rainy day, or a seat in the garden could be a preference.

The dining room seats 12 and overlooks the garden. Local food is sourced for home cooked food. Dinner can be pre booked and a small bar is available. So whether it's the famous Buckingham House breakfast with porridge or farm-fresh eggs served on a bed of straw, attention to detail is where we begin.

Buckingham House is superbly located, just ten minutes walk from the beautiful ancient Walled City Centre and Chester Cathedral. It is also only a ten minute walk to the historic 16th Century Chester Race Course and all the major attractions.

Chester is a perfect place to relax for a few days, enabling visitors to spend a day visiting Liverpool Water Front or The Beatles Trail, Conway or Caernavon Castles in North Wales. There is easy access to both places using British Rail or the Mersey Ferries, which are fun and relaxing. Why not visit Chester Zoo or Chester Cathedral's Mystery Plays? Changes and cancellations to bookings made up to 72 Hours before the arrival date/time are without charge. Thereafter the deposit may be charged. The total value of the booking may be charged if changes/cancellations are made with less than 72 Hours notice.
