Chelsea House is Falmouths 'Best kept secret' as described in the Lonley Planet. Whilst most Guest Houses are found on the main Melville Road, Chelseahouse is off the main road, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the road to have your holidays. Panoramic sea views over Falmouth Bay can be enjoyed from Chelsea House. Situated in a quiet location on the sea front, most of the rooms are large and three rooms have a private south facing balcony,with easy parking, the guest house is just minutes from Falmouth's beautiful unspoilt sea front and beaches and only a short walk to the historic town centre with its shops, harbour and restaurans.
Built in 1908 as the home of a Dutch Packet Ship Captain, Chelsea House has been extensively upgraded to incorporate modern comforts whilst still retaining its original character and charm (see photos) and providing a quiet and homely atmosphere.
There are 8 rooms to let all with en-suite facilities. Most of our rooms enjoy spectacular sea views with two double rooms having their own south-facing balcony. All rooms are decorated to a very high standard and furnished with colour television, central heating, tea and coffee-making facilities and hairdryers in the bedrooms.
