Come and join us for a restful and relaxing break at The Red House a family run Guesthouse. This is an elegant and distinctive Victorian guest house built during the arts and craft movement period along the design of Philip Webb. We over look the picturesque town, harbour and the river Fal. The original house was built for the Lord Kimberly circa 1890 it still retains a lot of its charm and character, we have refurbished with sympathy towards the character, but the bedrooms contain most of the modern world’s conveniences. Some of the bedrooms are on the gound floor providing easy access to the breakfast room and lounge, the others are on the first floor. There is Wi-Fi available in all bedrooms and a PC available for guest use. We have no petty restrictions you can come and go as you please keys are provided for the guest room and front door. For your comfort the whole Guest House is completely non - smoking. We can also offer in house beauty treatment (to be booked in advance).
We are ideally positioned to capture all of what Falmouth has to offer Gyllngvase and Castle beach are just a short walk away (5 mins) and about 5 min walk into the shops of Falmouth Town or the harbour. No need to use the car just leave it in our large in out car park and wander into town to catch one of the numerous ferries to St Mawes Truro and other destinations. Sit and enjoy our traditional cooked English breakfast in our airy breakfast room, we use locally produced products where possible. We provide cereals, fruit compote, yogurt, juices or sample our homemade jams and conserves. We can cater for most other diets vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant, and wheat free.
