Grange Cottage

Grange Cottage is part of a two-acre smallholding situated in the delightful Lincolnshire village of Willingham by Stow. Originally built in 1812, the house, barn and farmworker's cottage have been progressively rebuilt and adapted to meet the changes and challenges of the last two centuries. Mike & Sheena have lived in the village for over twenty years keeping free-range hens (and a few cockerels!) and propagating and selling a wide variety of plants - most notably hops and honeysuckle.
The farmworker's cottage was originally built about 150 years ago and has, over the past year, undergone a complete transformation. The cottage can be booked as a double or family room and guests have the option of enjoying a traditional English breakfast at the main house or catering for themselves - the kitchenette is always well stocked at no extra cost.
The accommodation is completely self-contained so guests can come and go as they please. It has a main double bedroom with Freeview TV and DAB radio and for larger groups there is an adjacent bedroom with two single beds. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven, hob and grill and there is a bathroom with shower, WC and handbasin. Free wi-fi and parking are also provided. There are a number of local pubs and restaurants - and of course our local Grafters Brewery - all within easy walking distance.

Booking Policies

We accept online bookings on a request only basis. We will contact you to confirm your reservation request.
We do not accept bookings from official tourism information centers.

We accept payment with the following cards:

Standard Check-In Time: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Standard Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM
Please contact us if you would like to check-in earlier / check-out later.

Changes and cancellations to bookings made up to 7 Days before the arrival date/time are without charge. Thereafter the deposit may be charged. The total value of the booking may be charged if changes/cancellations are made with less than 48 Hours notice.

Other Policies

• Non Availability: If due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver your requested accommodation we will endeavour to find a suitable alternative for you and refund any deposit paid. Our liability does not extend beyond refunding the deposit.
• Smoking: We are a non smoking establishment. If we find that smoking has taken place in the room you will be liable for the additional cleaning costs and the cost at full rate of any nights that the room is rendered unusable by your action.
• Damage: Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible for any damage or breakages you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages but may seek recompense for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. There will be an additional administration cost of £30 if you do not report the damage.
• Conduct: We reserve the right to ask you to leave if your conduct or behaviour is unacceptable or disturbs other guests. You will still be liable for the full cost of your stay.
• Liability: We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any of your party or vehicles or possessions unless proven to have been caused by a negligent act by us, our employees or agents.
• Privacy: Any information collected in the course of a booking will be stored on our computer(s). This will not be shared with any third parties but we may, with your agreement, contact you about any special offers or promotions in which we think you may be interested.
• Online Booking Restrictions: We reserve the right to cancel any online booking. We ask that agencies making bookings on behalf of others contact us by email or telephone before doing so.
