The Grey Bull

The Grey Bull is ideally situated for visiting Hadrians Wall and museums, and a great starting point for our mapped walks in the area. Local shops, the railway station, bus stops and the Hadrians Wall Bus Service are all within easy walking distance.

Private parking and secure cycle storage is available.

Haltwhistle is an ideal base from which to explore the area.

To the east, Hexham and Corbridge offer boutique shopping, a 15th century abbey and a Farmers Market. A little further vibrant Newcastle and the Metro Centre, one of Europe's largest shopping experiences.

To the west, Brampton is home to a Pre-Raphaelite church and many antique shops. The Border City of Carlisle has a fine cathedral, a castle and the Lanes shopping area.

We accept online bookings on a request only basis. We will contact you to confirm your reservation request.
We do not accept bookings from official tourism information centers.

We accept payment with the following cards:

Check-In: Our check in is from 4pm however we are flexiable with arrival times as long as you notify us via e-mail or phone if you wish to arrive before 4pm
Standard Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM
Please contact us if you would like to check-in earlier / check-out later.

Changes and cancellations to bookings made up to 7 Days before the arrival date/time are without charge. Thereafter the deposit may be charged. The total value of the booking may be charged if changes/cancellations are made with less than 48 Hours notice.

Other Policies

• We will store credit card details and a deposit of £20 if a cancellation occurs if a cancellation is made within 2 days of the arrival date we will charge the first night's stay.
• In the event of a no show we will charge first night stay.
