Inveran Lodge

Inveran Lodge was built in 1891 by an ex hotelier who had retired from the wee village of Inveran on the West Coast. He built this substantial house for his retirement and in those days it featured six bedrooms with one bathroom. The ground floor rooms were made up of the dining room, lounge and parlor with kitchen offices and staff quarters centred in the cottage adjoining the main house. A full Victorian bell system is still in place although not in working order. The coach house is now part of the cottage which offers self catering accommodation.
Currently the house offers three double bedrooms with guest drawing room all situated on the first floor. The establishment enjoys four star grading from the Scottish Tourist Board and has become a popular return visit destination from International, UK and European tourists. Rosemary Young is your host at Inveran Lodge. She has had nearly twenty years experience in running larger hotels and has now down sized to concentrate on the Lodge. She likes to think that Inveran is a B and B with all the best qualities offered by a hotel.
