The Newburgh Guesthouse, is a friendly, exceptionally clean, home from home, non-smoking family run Guest house in Torquay. Where you are guaranteed a warm welcome, together with an excellent freshly cooked breakfast using very good quality ingredients.
Built in 1861, ideally situated in the heart of the beautiful English Riviera in Torquays premier hotel b&b accommodation letting area, the Newburgh Guesthouse is located in a quiet Victorian Terrace in the Belgravia Conservation Area.

All of our guest bedrooms benefit from a flatscreen remote colour television with freeview, beverage tray, complimentary biscuits, hairdryer, alarm clock, information pack, tissues, toiletries (shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, soap, shower cap, cotton wool balls), and smoke detector. The triple room has a dvd player.
Ideally located, to enjoy all the english riviera offers, or to explore the surrounding area, Exeter, Plymouth, Dartmoor, Eden Project to name but a few are all within an hour and a half drive from us or closer.

We accept instant confirmation online bookings.
We do not accept bookings from official tourism information centers.

We accept payment with the following cards:

Standard Check-In Time: 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Standard Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM
Please contact us if you would like to check-in earlier / check-out later.

If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Cancellation Information: In any case, the guest house will endeavour to re-let your accommodation, and then the cancellation charges may not apply. If they are unable to re-let your accommodation and the cancellation charges are applicable, they may be able to offer you a replacement break later on in the year, subject to availability, although this is not guaranteed. Any refund will be exclusive of your one nights stay non refundable booking deposit.

Other Policies

• Payment Information: Any balance owed is payable on arrival. When booking a deposit of one nights stay will be taken from the card details you provide on booking, this deposit is non refundable. Please note that the hotel does not accept bookings for hen or stag parties, or same sex groups. Wedding parties and such are welcome but please contact the hotel directly. Please note that the hotel is not suitable for children under 4 years old. Check-In Information: Please advise the hotel by either email or telephone of your expected arrival time. Check-in is from 16:00 to 20:30. It can be earlier or later only by previous arrangement directly with the hotel. Check out is by 10.00 am You may wish to consider taking out travel insurance to cover yourself, in the event of unforeseen circumstances arising.
