Terms Of Use

By using the MyUK.Travel website you agree to all of these terms and conditions and our privacy and security statement.

 

Online Booking

All online bookings made via MyUK.Travel are transactions directly between the customer and the accommodation supplier; MyUK.Travel is not acting as a travel agent.

Confirmation

Customers are advised at time of booking if the booking is confirmed or is on a request basis. If the booking is on a request basis then the accommodation supplier will inform the customer directly whether the booking is confirmed or not. If a booking request is not confirmed within 48hrs then the booking is deemed as being cancelled.
All bookings made via MyUK.Travel are completed only when the customer has finished the entire booking process and has been issued with a booking request or confirmation and a unique booking reference. The customer is responsible for checking that all details of their booking confirmation/request are correct and are as intended. If the booking is not as intended then the customer may cancel a booking without charge providing that they inform the accommodation supplier within 30 minutes of the reservation being made.

Payment For Bookings

The accommodation supplier may opt to require payment of a deposit by either credit/debit card and/or bank transfer. The customer's credit/debit card details may also be used by the accommodation supplier to guarantee the reservation; any changes, cancellation or no-show charges may be charged directly to the customer's card. MyUK.Travel does NOT charge the customer's credit/debit card directly or make any other booking or transaction based fee to either party. If the required deposit cannot be obtained within 24hrs from time of booking then the accommodation supplier will make reasonable attempt(s) to contact the customer and may opt to cancel the booking if alternative arrangements for payment cannot be negotiated. Bookings may be cancelled if payment is not made within 1hr for bookings made within 24hrs of check-in date/time. If the customer's credit card is due to expire before the customer is due to stay then the customer must provide the accommodation supplier with their new card details when the new card is issued. The Accommodation Supplier may cancel a booking if the customer does not inform the accommodation supplier of their new card details or make alternative arrangements for guaranteeing the booking. All prices on the MyUK.Travel website are in GBP£ / Pounds Stirling and include VAT.

Changing Or Cancelling A Booking

Please contact the accommodation supplier directly if you wish to change or cancel a confirmed booking (see your confirmation for their contact details). MyUK.Travel is unable to make changes or cancellations to bookings on your behalf. If you change or cancel a booking then the accommodation supplier may make additional charges as per their policies advised at time of booking. MyUK.Travel does not make any additional charges for changing or cancelling a booking. Please note that an accommodation supplier is entitled to cancel an entire booking if you change or cancel part of a booking if the remaining booking does not meet their minimum stay policies.

Double Bookings / Cancelled Bookings

In the rare event of the accommodation supplier being unable to provide the customer with the service as booked, the accommodation supplier will inform the customer as soon as possible and make reasonable attempts to remedy the situation by seeking alternative accommodation of a similar price and quality for the customer. If no alternative accommodation is available then the booking may be cancelled and any payment made will be refunded in full by the accommodation supplier.

Rates displayed on MyUK.Travel website are non-commissionable.

Accuracy

MyUK.Travel regularly reviews the content of the website to ensure that information is accurate and is not misleading. As the majority of information about accommodation suppliers displayed on this website is supplied by the accommodation suppliers directly, MyUK.Travel cannot guarantee the accuracy of such information. MyUK.Travel specifically assumes no responsibility for the correctness of prices and room availability provided by accommodation suppliers and provides no warranties or guarantees as to the quality of the services offered by accommodation suppliers. MyUK.Travel takes no responsibility for the corruption of information held in the system website / database.

If you find any information on the website that is incorrect, offensive, or likely to mislead then please contact us and we will deal with the matter as soon as possible.

Accommodation suppliers are required by our terms and conditions to only use content on their listing that they either own the copyright to or have the written consent of the copyright holder.

Limitation Of Liability

You agree to release, indemnify and keep indemnified MyUK.Travel from and against all actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses) losses, proceedings, damages, liabilities, or demands suffered or incurred by us to any person arising out of or in connection with your failure to comply with these terms and conditions, your failure to complete a transaction made through MyUK.Travel, any loss due to errors or omissions and any failure of any accommodation supplier to provide the services offered or failure to receive any email or communication from us. MyUK.Travel is not liable for any direct or indirect losses incurred by the non-availability of the system.

Errors

MyUK.Travel endeavors to provide a fast, reliable and error-free service as possible. If you experience problems using this website then please let us know. The website is tested only against the latest versions of the major web browsers using their default settings. If you are experiencing problems then we would recommend that you ensure that you have the latest available version of your browser installed and that your firewall, anti-virus and web security software is correctly configured.

Jurisdiction

MyUK.Travel is published in the United Kingdom and recognises only United Kingdom law.

Changes To Terms And Conditions

MyUK.Travel reserves the right to change these terms and conditions when required. We recommend that website visitors review these terms and conditions frequently.

Other Uses

Please obtain our written permission before using our website (or any data that forms part of our website) in any other website or system. MyUK.Travel will charge you £1,000 +VAT per day if you 'web scrape', 'mash-up', simulate web sessions within any other system or use data from our website without permission.
